The Ultimates, Marvel Knights Spider-Man, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Civil War, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Wanted, Chrononauts, Superior and Kick-Ass, the last seven of which have been, or are intended to be, adjusted into highlight films. His DC Comics work incorporates Superman: Red Son. At Marvel Comics he made The Ultimates, chosen by Time magazine as the comic book of the decade, and portrayed by screenwriter Zak Penn as a significant motivation for 2012’s The Avengers film.
Millar additionally made Wolverine: Old Man Logan and Civil War, two of Marvel’s greatest selling realistic books; the Civil War hybrid storyline was the reason for the 2016 Marvel Studios film Captain America: Civil War and “Elderly person Logan” was the motivation for the 2017 twentieth Century Fox film Logan. Millar has been a chief maker on the entirety of his movies, and for a very long time functioned as an innovative advisor to Fox Studios on their Marvel record of movies. In 2017, Netflix purchased Millar’s comic line,
Millarworld, which Millar and his better half Lucy will keep on running; distributing new funnies and adjusting them for other media. He married Gill Millar (m. 1993–2009) and Lucy Unwin.
