Sir Patrick John Thompson Vallance FRS FMedSci FRCP (brought into the world 17 March 1960)[1] is a British doctor, researcher, and clinical pharmacologist who has worked in both scholarly community and industry.
He has filled in as the Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government of the United Kingdom since March 2018. From 1986 to 1995, Vallance instructed at St George’s Hospital Medical School, where his examination focused on vascular science and endothelial cell physiology.
In 1995, he was delegated Professor at UCL Medical School, and in 2002 he became top of UCL’s Department of Medicine. From 2012 to 2018, he was President of Research and Development at the worldwide drug organization, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
